professionals. The organization also serves as a forum for the ideas,

D.C. Chapter of the AIP was formed during 1998 as a result of a series
of mergers by three organizations: the D.C. Internet Developer's Association
(DCIDA), D.C. Webmasters' Guild, and the Mid-Atlantic Java User's Group

Flash Users Group
Meets monthly at the Apple Center in Reston, and features presentations

The Graphic Artists Guild is a national union of illustrators, designers,
web creators, production artists, surface designers and other creatives

New Media Society

Production Club of Baltimore, Inc.
A non-profit, all-volunteer organization providing educational resources
and networking support for professionals in advertising production, graphic
design, printing, and related support professions. PCB is an all-volunteer,
all-local organization. Every membership dollar is spent to provide programs
supporting our immediate members. Plus, a portion of memberships supports
annual scholarships and grants for Baltimore area design students and
arts organizations.
Production Club of Greater Washington
Meets once a month on a special topic relevant to publishing. Lots of
trips to area suppliers, so you get first hand exposure to the latest
technology and the best talent. Excellent group for information and networking.
UPA, Usability Professional's Association - DC Metro Chapter
