Fireworks
Fireworks is a part of Adobe's Studio suite, essential for start-to-finish design, development and maintenance tools of websites, applications, games, interactive presentations, and mobile content. (Other components of Studio 8 includes Flash Professional, Dreamweaver, and Contribute — all the necessary tools to create code and easily maintain interactive projects.) Fireworks lets you balance maximum image quality with minimum compression size as you create, edit and optimize images for the web with precise control. You can also use Fireworks to create animated rollovers and pop-up menus with its intuitive visual tools, and utilize round-trip editing capabilities with Dreamweaver for greater efficiency. Fireworks...Quick! for Web Developers
Web developers and designers with little experience in graphics programs will be right at home in this class. We'll cover the essentials of taking existing graphics — such as photos, logos, pie charts, and illustrations — and preparing them for the web. Sizing, cropping, and optimizing graphics will also be covered, as well as the technical differences between graphic file formats and resolution.

Dreamweaver Intermediate — Level 2
This class builds on the skills learned in Dreamweaver Basics and is only for experienced Dreamweaver users who have either completed PubCom's Dreamweaver Basics class or who have equivalent experience. This advanced class covers:
- advanced use of CSS positioning,
- 508-accessibility
- templates.
This class will also be a little longer than our normal one-day class: seven hours instead of the usual six, giving you plenty of lab time to practice your skills.

Extended Lab Time
PubCom's hands-on computer classes include self-paced practice time after class, from 4 - 5pm.
